MONTHLY MEETINGS!
Friends of the South Orange Public Library monthly meeting is the second Monday of each month.
Location:
The Community Meeting Room, lower level of the South Orange Library, 65 Scotland Rd, South Orange.
Time: 7:00pm-9:00pm
All are welcome! Ample parking off in the parking lot behind the library!

That BIG GREEN BOX turns books into fund$ for the library!
Wondering about that green "Drop Books Here" box outside the library in the parking lot? The Friends of the SOPL have partnered with Better World Books to earn a percentage of
their profits for our library and help spread literacy throughout the world. Read more about it here.
It's NOT a place to return library books but you can DONATE books you no longer want! It's a great way to get rid of those "hard-to-give-away" books such as encyclopedias, users' manuals, and
textbooks. Our volunteers keep on top of reporting when this box is full, and your donations get picked up in a timely manner. (During our book donation days for our annual Book Sale, we temporarily
pause donations at the green box)

This modest bookstore is the result of the hard work of many volunteers. We thank the SOPL for loaning us their space, which allows The Friends to help the library thrive as a community hub for
information, assistance and fun.
